Christopher Lin M.D.
Dr. Christopher B Lin
Dr. Lin was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is the only son of
two pediatricians. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) in 1997 premed with a degree in Biology and minor
in Psychology. He returned to the Midwest for medical school at the
University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. His training
brought him to California in 2001, completing Pediatric Residency at
the CHOC-Children's Hospital of Orange County. Giving up the snow
shovel and ice scraper for good, Dr. Lin stayed in California and
worked in the CHOC pediatric emergency department as well as
seeing children as a teaching attending at the CHOC outpatient
clinics. He also worked at KidsDoc urgent care, where he worked in
the Mission Viejo and Rancho offices for over three years. Dr. Lin is
an avid sportsfan (Go Angels/Patriots/Bears/Bucks!!) and has been a
Bible study leader for middle and high schoolers. He also shares his
personal testimony to churches and other groups. He also has been
an advisor and high school interviewer for the MIT Educational
Council. He has been married over five years to Carol. Carol is also
a pediatrician, specializing in oncology at CHOC. They welcomed
their twin sons to the world in 2011, Clark and Chase.

pediatric offices but also the pediatric emergency department, I
understand the importance of making treatment plans with my
patients and parents. Plans that are not only thorough but also
clearly explained so the parents and child are comfortable when

every child as if they were my own children."
